The book Loneliness and the Built Environment, edited by Professor Fernando Nieto and Postdoctoral Research Fellow Rosana Rubio, has been awarded with a special mention at the COAM Awards 2022 in the category of Dissemination. The COAM Awards are given by the Professional Association of Architects of Madrid (COAM), rewarding the quality of architectural work, good professional practice and exemplary initiatives that have contributed to the dissemination of the cultural values of Architecture. The year 2022 marked the 50th anniversary of the announcement of the first edition of the COAM Awards. The proposals awarded this year together with a selection of the best works awarded throughout the history of the COAM Awards will be showcased in an exhibition at the COAM headquarters in Madrid during January and February.
