The event will be an unprecedented encounter between two of the most representative architects of their generation in Finland and Spain: Juhani Pallasmaa and Carlos Puente. The conversation will be conducted by Associate Professor Fernando Nieto and Postdoctoral Research Fellow Rosana Rubio from SPREAD research group at the Tampere University School of Architecture.
Based on Four Finnish Stories written by Carlos Puente while living in Finland, the panelists will have an open discussion about the past and present of Finnish and Spanish architecture and design, highlighting how the two cultures have influenced each other.
The roundtable will be held in English and Spanish at Kulttuuritalo Laikku, 3rd floor (Keskustori 4, Tampere). Entrance free of charge subject to available seating limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. The event will be broadcasted in streaming and recorded here.
