The exhibition ‘Futures of the Science Park’ showcases a selection of design works developed by architecture students in the courses Innovative Strategies in Architectural Design and Experimental Architectural Design, held in Autumn 2019 at the Tampere University Faculty of Built Environment.
The students’ works focus on the development of the Kupittaa area and Turku Science Park with hybrid proposals including intertwined spaces for living, working and leisure time. Hybrid and time was the general theme of the two courses, run as a collaboration between the chairs of Public Building Design and Housing Design.
SPREAD’s teachers and researchers have taken part with different roles in both courses. The exhibition has been curated by University Instructor Jenni Poutanen. More information (in Finnish) here.
