Next Monday October 12th, the architect Juan Herreros will take part as guest critic in the final review of the Master’s level course Innovative Strategies in Architectural Design, an architectural design course within the Advanced Studies offer at the Tampere University School of Architecture. The course theme is hybrid architecture, and the scope area for research and design is the Tulli area in the city centre of Tampere.
Juan Herreros is Full Professor of Architectural Design at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM-UPM) and Professor of Professional Practice at the Columbia University GSAPP in New York. He is founder and partner of the architecture office estudio Herreros in Madrid. Prof. Herreros is an internationally recognised practicing architect and Professor who has critically investigated for decades on hybridised architectural typologies throughout his teaching, research and professional practices.
