Kimmo Lintula from K2S Architects will participate as guest lecturer in the Architectural Design VI course at Tampere University’s School of Architecture. Kimmo Lintula is founding partner, together with Mikko Summanen and Niko Sirola, of the Helsinki-based office K2S Architects, one of the most prestigious architecture offices in Finland. Their work includes, among other built works, the Kamppi Chapel, the Paasitorni Hotel & Congress Centre, the renovation of the Helsinki Olympic Stadium (Finlandia Prize for Architecture 2020) and the Maunula House in Helsinki, the Fazer Headquarters & Visitor Centre in Vantaa, the Ylivieska Church and the renovation of the Science Library at the University of Vaasa.
Lintula’s lecture is held in the context of the Architectural Design VI course, whose theme in 2023 is a multigenerational community centre in the neighbourhood of Hervanta in Tampere. The lecture will be held in Teams on Tuesday 14 February at 9:15.
