New research: VR‑guided deep breathing offers a non‑pharmacological way to reduce stress during needle procedures in children

A newly published study examines the use of VR‑guided deep breathing as a supportive intervention during pediatric needle procedures. The clinically tested approach was found to be a feasible, non‑pharmacological way to reduce children’s stress and fear. The study includes researchers from our research center and has been published in Scientific Reports.
