The research priorities of the TerraDigi research group are:

1. Lifecycle management of infrastructure assets: collection, processing and utilisation of life-cycle information, new forms of cooperation and information flow
2. Rationalisation of the design, construction and maintenance process: digital design, production and maintenance control, quality management, resilience
3. New business and service models: improving the customer experience, new earning models
4. Enabling technologies: development of system architecture, improvement of formats, development of nomenclatures and standards, possibilities of 5G, IoT, artificial intelligence and digital twins throughout the life-cycle, tools for data management and data processing
5. Increasing productivity: developing a process to promote digitalisation, lean thinking in the infrastructure sector, change in operating culture, metering and statistics in the infrastructure sector
