ProDigial Research Programme

Productivity for the infrastructure sector by utilising digitalisation

ProDigial research programme develops tools and operating models that improve productivity, promotes the utilisation of digitalisation throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure, and compiles an overall picture of them. A key part of the research is concrete infrastructure projects, in which new means and operating models are tested. The research programme is divided into four research entities: lifecycle information, acquisition and cooperation, change of operating culture and improvement of productivity. The research programme is based on the preliminary study “Roadmap to Infrastructure Productivity”, which was funded by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency in 2019–2020. ProDigial is funded by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency and 10 Finnish cities.
