ProDigial Research Programme

Productivity for the infrastructure sector by utilising digitalisation

ProDigial research programme produces tools to improve productivity and the utilization of digitalization throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure. Concrete infrastructure projects, where new methods are tested, are a crucial part of the research. The research program is divided into two phases. In the first phase (2020‒2023), problems were identified with the help of 12 pilot projects and solutions were developed. In the second phase (2024‒2028), these solutions will be tested in concrete infrastructure projects. The goal is to change the operating culture of the infrastructure sector. Research and development are particularly focused on life-cycle information, situational awareness, BIM-models, procurement, change of operating culture and improvement of productivity.
