Our new work explores how structured light can be used to manipulate the electronic properties of a Dirac material. Using a Floquet framework, we show that spatially varying optical fields generate nontrivial spin and density textures that cannot arise under conventional homogeneous illumination. More specifically the structured light beam creates distinct topological regions separated by contours where the effective mass vanishes, allowing for spatially controlled topological engineering.
