Research funding for studying client segmentation and services for people with SUDs

On 4 August 2021, the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health provided significant research funding (447 791€) for our project on Asiakassegmentointi ja päihteitä ongelmallisesti käyttävien palvelut – paraneeko vaikuttavuus? [Client segmentation and services for people with SUDs – will the effectiveness improve?]. Tenure track professor Katja Kuusisto is the PI of this research project.

The Steering Group (in alphabetical order): Iiris Hörhammar (Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Aalto University, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management), Elise Kosunen (Professor Emerita, TAU, Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology), Katja Kuusisto (PI, Tenure Track Professor, Tampere University), Sari Mäkinen (Lic. Med, Chief Medical Officer, PSHP, PT), Mikko Mäntysaari (Professor Emeritus, University of Jyväskylä), Elina Rautiainen (Senior Researcher, Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare), Riitta Salunen (DHSc, Coordination Manager, PSHP, PT), Gillian Shorter (Ph.D., Queen’s University, Belfast, Northern Ireland) and Marja Vaarama (Professor Emerita, University of Eastern Finland). The project steering group will be complemented by representatives of the research units and clients during the autumn.
