Dr. Gillian Shorter (Queen’s University, Belfast, UK) is currently visiting the TreAdd Research Group. The visit is part of a project funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health titled “Client Segmentation and Services for People with SUDs – Will the Effectiveness Improve?” (SEGMENT-project).
Dr. Shorter is a member of the project’s steering group, bringing her expertise particularly in questions related to the effectiveness of treatment and service pathways. The visit marks the beginning of a bilateral collaboration, within which Shorter will visit Tampere again in October, and project leader Katja Kuusisto will visit Belfast in November-December.
