Doctoral student, M.Sc. Reetta Kinnunen started in the role of a researcher in the TreAdd research group in December 2022. Kinnunen works on the Usability of substance abuse client segmentation in service planning and its effects on client well-being and substance abuse project (SEGMENT). She will participate in the research and publishing activities as part of the project’s multidisciplinary team.
Kinnunen continues her career in research at the University of Tampere where she previously worked on projects in the fields of security and knowledge management. During spring of 2022, Kinnunen gained valuable international experience at the European Commission’s Joint Research Center, where she worked as an intern in the Communication unit and Director General’s office.
In the SEGMENT research project, Kinnunen is particularly interested how policy guidelines and development programs at the state and regional level manifest themselves at customer interface in substance abuse services. Research questions related to management and digitalization from the perspective of effectiveness of substance abuse services are also among Kinnunen’s research interests.
