The European Optical Society Annual Meeting (EOSAM) 2026 was held in Tampere, Finland, from August 24 to 28. Organized by the European Optical Society (EOS) in collaboration with Photonics Finland, Tampere University, and the PREIN Flagship, the conference brought together more than 500 researchers and students from around the world.
The plenary program featured Professor Anne L’Huillier, recipient of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics, alongside other leading researchers in optics and photonics.
Our group actively participated in the conference. Prof. Goëry Genty served as a chair for a plenary session. Xinyao and Huimin presented their work in poster sessions, while Teemu gave an oral presentation.
The conference provided a valuable opportunity for our group members to present their latest research, exchange ideas with researchers from around the world, and learn about recent developments in optics and photonics.
