In the 1-week demo for John Deere, AI Hub Tampere helped prepare for an extensive data recording effort which took place between John Deere and Tampere university. In the preparation, we used ROS1 to attach two sensors to the university’s data collection platform, which is a heavily modified wheel loader. The AI Hub effort was to:
-attach, adjust and test the sensors.
-verify the high data quality
-test and adjust the data collection process
-write an instruction manual for data collection and the platform
