Energy Day

Tampere University´s research platform on Climate Neutral Energy Systems and Society (CNESS) will hold an Energy Day at  Technopolis Asemakeskus on June 5, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Individual researchers or research groups can present their current work or project proposals on energy research during the seminar. Therefore, Energy Day is not just about showcasing one´s work but also about fostering joint research efforts. It is a chance to gain an overview of the broad spectrum of energy research at CNESS, Tampere University, and beyond, receive feedback, and seek potential collaboration with researchers or research groups from other disciplines. The event is open for non-Tuni researchers but we do not accept PhD proposals or projects.

The Energy Day will have a schedule as follows:

11:00 Arrival at Technopolis Asemakeskus (Edustus- ja saunatila Aava)
11:15 – 12:15 Lunch buffet and coffee served at the venue (veg and non-veg options)
12:15 – 14:15 Presentations and discussions
14:15 – 14:45 Coffee and cake served at the venue
14:45 – 16:30 Presentations and discussions
16:30 End of the seminar

If you intend to present your research project or proposal, please send your abstract to Carl Muth (carl.muth@tuni.fi) by May 24, 2024. The number of presentations (around 5-10 minutes) will determine how much time we have for the follow-up discussions (at least 15 minutes).
