CNESS summer school report is online

After two successful CNESS Summer Schools in 2022 and 2023, our third edition introduced a new focus on energy security as its overarching theme. Consequently, the 2024 program incorporated more topics related to security. Despite this shift in emphasis, the primary goal remained the same: to provide students and young professionals with a comprehensive overview of energy fundamentals, encompassing technological, economic, and societal aspects in relation to energy security.

In mid-June, CNESS welcomed 22 doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, as well as professionals from diverse disciplines and social backgrounds, to participate in an intensive one-week program in Tampere. This diversity of perspectives greatly enriched the discussions, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of the energy system and its associated challenges.
