The Centre of Excellence in Body-on-Chip Research (CoEBoC) will host the annual Finnish Organ-on-Chip (FIN OoC) meeting in 2025, bringing together leading experts in Organ-on-Chip technologies, organoids, and microphysiological systems. The event will take place at Tampere University’s Kauppi campus, the central hub for CoEBoC research activities.
This year’s program features distinguished keynote speakers from the UK, Denmark, and Finland:
- Prof. Hazel Screen is a co-leader of the Centre for Predictive in vitro Models at Queen Mary University of London.
- Assoc. prof. Otto Kalliokoski focuses on improving pre-clinical methodology and novel methods for unbiased assessments of animal welfare at the University of Copenhagen.
- Prof. Tarja Malm is the head of the Neuroinflammation research group at the University of Eastern Finland
- Prof. Pasi Kallio leads the Micro- and Nanosystems Research Group and is one of the pricipal investigators of CoEBoC at the Tampere University.
The event will be held at Kauppi campus which is the central location for CoEBoC research. The centre’s researchers will be running lab tours during the event providing attendees with a behind-the-scenes look at the research facilities.
The call for abstracts closes 31st August.
