Lotta Isosaari wins Nordic Organ-on-Chip Pitch Competition

Master’s student Lotta Isosaari from CoEBoC’s Neuro Group earned the first place in Nordic Organ-on-Chip Pitching competition held online 9th March. Second place went to Laura Benito Zarza from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Both researchers had a strong focus on modelling vascularized human brain tissue.

All together, 13 researchers from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland presented their work at the pitching event. In addition keynotes were presented by Professor Stefan Krauss from the University of Oslo and Professor Anna Herland from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Researchers from 18 universities around Europe took part in the event.
