Assessment is an important part of the educational process. Is through assessment that within educational contexts pedagogical practices can be adjusted respecting the developmental needs of each student. Nevertheless, teachers are challenged to assess non-verbal children, particularly those with developmental disorders or severe intellectual disability. The research project explores the use of video recordings as a tool for assessing children’s development in inclusive educational contexts.
