Arnaldo Pellini has joined the editorial team of Evidence & Policy, which is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to comprehensive and critical assessment of the relationship between research evidence and the concerns of policy makers and practitioners.
Arnaldo will be working as Associate Editor, and will be managing some of the articles’ submissions. The role is for three years, and is in parallel to Arnaldo’s research work on knowledge systems and the role of evidence in policymaking at the Overseas Development Institute.
Arnaldo describes his new role as a new, multi-faceted opportunity. “My interest in the role is linked to the possibility to work with researchers and contribute to the dissemination of new knowledge on evidence-informed policymaking processes and systems, in particular from projects and programmes that try to solve real-life knowledge-to-policy problems. I am also interested in the professional experience and learning I will acquire about the process and systems of academic publication. I want to continue linking and working with researchers and practitioners around the world who want to contribute to the evolution of the debate around evidence-informed policy.”
