EduKnow and the research group TCuPS – Tampere Research Group for Cultural and Political Sociology, from the Faculty of Social Sciences arranged a series of joint seminars.
The first session took place at the Faculty of Education on the 19th of March, with D.Soc.Sc. Ali Qadir leading the discussion about the use of domestication theory in the analysis of the global-local nexus in education policy.
A second seminar was held as well at the Faculty of Education on the 21st of March. Íris Santos and Vera Centeno presented an article draft on the topic of the use of reference societies in the educational policy debates at the national level.
The third seminar took place at the Faculty of Social Sciences on the 3rd of April. In the seminar Lauri Heimo’s paper on Domestication of Global Policy Norms: Problematisation of the Conditional Cash Transfer Narrative was discussed.
