Jaakko Kauko gave his inaugural lecture on “Power and knowledge in education policy”. He discussed the rationality of modernity and how the analysis on education policy should move beyond rationalistic expectations. Jaakko charted ideas on affective and semantic networks as well as new paradigmatic thinking to overcome these challenges.
