The EduKnow members Nelli Piattoeva and Galina Gurova published a chapter entitled “Domesticating international assessments in Russia: historical grievances, national values, scientific rationality and education modernization” in an edited volume by Cristina Alarcón and Martin Lawn “Assessment Cultures: Historical Perspectives”. The chapter highlights the importance of looking at the work of national policy-makers and experts in “domesticating” international policies for national audiences.
