Online seminar “The ethics and politics of educational export: Japan and Finland in a comparative perspective” took place on 16th of February 2022, organized jointly by TRANSIT, Kyoto University (Global Education Office, Graduate School of Education) and EduKnow research group. This event attracted over 100 attendees from Finland, Japan and beyond.
The materials of the seminar have now been posted onto TRANSIT’s website and can be found here. They include speaker’s slides, a blog by Oshie Nishimura-Sahi summarizing interesting points of the seminar, and a link to a popular article (in Finnish) published in a national magazine following the seminar. We will share seminar recordings at a later point once they have been checked and properly edited for public view.
