Mission and Vision

The overall aim of the research in our Cancer Centres is to improve cancer prevention, diagnostics and care. We will build up processes that will enhance multidisciplinary and translational research projects and international research collaboration. We will support efficient transfer of new research findings from laboratory to translational research and to clinical work. By year 2025, Tays Cancer Centre will be, in its selected focus areas, the leading cancer research centre in Finland and the distinguished international research operator.
