We have recently added one more piece of art into our Cover Gallery.
The contents in the photograph are, glass spheres (2 mm diameter) painted with the ink from a highligher, liquid crystalline backgroud (some chemical monomer randomly picked from the lab fridge), a plastic strip bouncing like a catapult, and professional illumination. The only photoshopped items are, the trajectories and journal LOGO.
There is also some science behind, in order to make it with more sense. Details, see https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adfm.202270098
