Researchers from our group won the Best Conference Paper Award in recent Ipsera 2023 conference which was held in Barcelona. Ipsera is the most established academic conference concentrating on purchasing and supply management.
The paper entitled ‘Practice-based view to value creation in infra procurement’ investigates how various purchasing and supply management practices such as supplier-oriented and internal practices contribute to different value benefits in infra procurement. Practice-based view is a novel theoretical approach in the field with very limited empirical studies so far.
The paper has been prepared in research projects ProDigial and InnoProcu and is authored by Kirsi Lindfors and Aki Jääskeläinen from Tampere University, and Iryna Malacina from LUT University. Paper presented in the conference is not yet published and it will be submitted to a journal in the near future.
