The panel was open from September 29 to October 10, 2025, on Digiraati, a discussion platform maintained by the Ministry of Justice. Digiraati is designed to give young people a voice in societal matters and to ensure that their perspectives are heard—especially by decision-makers.
A concluding statement, approved by the participants, was compiled based on the discussions:
The conversation brought forward valuable insights related to financial challenges. Music, nature, and close relationships were mentioned as important sources of comfort and joy. Participants also highlighted the role of libraries and other publicly funded services, emphasizing that these resources offer meaningful opportunities and deserve greater visibility and appreciation.
At the same time, participants expressed frustration about the role of money in everyday life. It was seen as discouraging that nearly everything—especially on social media platforms like TikTok—seems to require spending. The practices around free trial periods for streaming services were also criticized; participants wished these trials would truly be limited time offers without automatic renewals.
Thank you to all participants for your valuable insights and active engagement in the discussion!
