The VET Research Award aims to reward an outstanding VET research project, a research team or an individual researcher who has made an outstanding contribution to innovative thinking in VET, including initial and higher VET, continuing VET, adult learning and career-long professional learning.
Professor Nokelainen nominated as a candidate for the European Commission VET Excellence in Research Award 2018
In August 2018 Leader of the PGL research group, Professor Petri Nokelainen, was nominated as a candidate for European Commission VET Excellence in Research Award 2018 for his research on vocational excellence (MoVE, AVE and PaVE research projects 2007 – 2014). He is competing against Professor Tobias Ley (Tallinn University, Estonia). After voting Professor Petri Nokelainen got the second prize.
