Final project meeting in Cologne
In May 2026, the final in-person meeting of the TeC@ses project team took place in Cologne, Germany. In a trusting and productive working atmosphere, the focus was on the joint revision of the English version of the TeC@ses tool, as well as on preparing translations into the other project languages: Dutch, Czech, Finnish, and German. To support this process, we developed a clearly structured roadmap and timeline for the coming months.
In addition, we reflected on both completed and planned dissemination activities. Among other things, an English-language academic paper presenting new findings was submitted to an academic journal, the TeC@ses tool was introduced in seminars for pre-service teachers and presented and disseminated at both national and international conferences.
Another key focus was the planning of the multiplier events scheduled for November. These will be conducted in the respective national languages and tailored to country-specific contexts and target groups. Further information can be found in the “Outlook” section.
In line with the Erasmus+ idea, cultural exchange also played an important role. Personal interactions helped to bring European collaboration to life and further strengthened the partnership.
Over the course of the project duration, a total of four in-person project meetings have taken place since December 2023. More information on these can be found under “Project Activities” on the TeC@ses website.
Current status of the TeC@ses project
Following final revisions to the English version of the tool during the project meeting, this version has now been agreed on. Its development incorporated four rounds of feedback as well as conceptual consultation with vocational teachers to ensure that the tool is optimally aligned with the needs of its target group.
The English version is now being translated into the four additional project languages. This process is being carried out collaboratively by project partners in Belgium, Czechia, Finland, and Germany, allowing for consideration of country-specific requirements.
Outlook
In November 2026, national multiplier events will take place across all partner countries. The “Business Cases & Online Learning “ -workshops will be held online or hybrid, depending on the needs of the countries.
The events are aimed at teachers, school administrators, education authorities, representatives of teacher training, teacher associations, universities, and other interested stakeholders.
