IM00DR96-3001 Introduction to Record Production (TAMK) (3op): This is a basic course about Record Production where students go through basics of digital sound recording and diverse phases of record production. Basics of recording, editing, mixing and mastering is are covered. Students are able to use hardware, software and signal flow of the small recording studio. Students are able to collaborate in an international student team, create a recording project from musical idea and learn basics of popular music record production in the globalizing market.

IM00BS71-3009 Advanced IPR workshop (TAMK) (3op): This is an advanced course about intellectual property rights, focusing specially to copyrights and related rights in audio visual production and music industry field. The course is on-line course, including several tasks of all different topics of IPR.

IM00DR94-3001 Introduction to Song Writing (TAMK) (3op): This is a basic course about song writing where students plan and implement musical ideas into finished recordings. Basics of recording, editing and mixing tools are covered. Excercises on writing music and lyrics are covered with introduction to IPR. Students are able to collaborate in an international team.

IM00DR92-3001 Introduction to Music Business and Entrepreneurship (TAMK) (3op): This is a basic course about music business and entrepreneurship where students go through basic of the structure of the music industry field. Basics of music copyright and neighboring right, simple music license agreements, music publishing and record company´s business field. Students are able to collaborate in an international team.
