Article of the Year: Rimpelä's and Myöhänen’s Review on School Closures and Adolescent Well-being

The Science Article of the Year is a review by Professor Emerita Arja Rimpelä and researcher Anna Myöhänen, which examines the significance of school closures during the COVID-19 pandemic in the deterioration of young people’s mental health.

The selection was made by the editorial board of Lääkärilehti (The Finnish Medical Journal). The board members praised the article for addressing a timely and anticipated topic, as well as for providing guidance for future pandemics.
