TerraRoad – Knowledge of materials is the key for sustainable infrastructures
The core competencies of the TerraRoad research group are:
- Conventional earth and aggregate materials used in infrastructures, as well as alternative construction materials and their various applications
- Monitoring of mechanical performance and condition of road and street structures, as well as related structural solutions and methods for their dimensioning and renovation
- Landfill structures and other environmental geotechnical structures
- Structures and materials for recreational areas and sports facilities
