Associate Professor Katja Brøgger selected as Visiting Senior Fellow for the academic year 2023-2024

We are happy to welcome Associate Professor Katja Brøgger (Danish School of Education - Education Studies, Aarhus University, Denmark) as the Faculty of Education and Culture (EDU) Visiting Senior Fellow for the academic year 2023-2024

Associate Professor Katja Brøgger is the research program director of Policy Futures and host of the Policy Futures International Webinar Series, and a PI on two comparative projects studying new nationalisms and geopolitical shifts in European higher education. The programme for Katja Brøgger’s visit will include a wide range of activities involving the research groups at EDU. Many activities will also concern and develop the research centre TRANSIT. These will include an international TRANSIT workshop “Methodologies of research on nationalism in education: critical and interdisciplinary perspectives” as part of the ongoing “Collaboratory of nationalism in education” and a public seminar and workshop “Slow science and academic freedom” also involving researchers from the Centre for Social Sciences (Budapest, Hungary). 

Katja Brøgger’s stay will develop a long-term partnership between TRANSIT and the Policy Futures Research Program at Aarhus University.
