Welcome to discuss early results from the project “Higher Education Autonomy in Europe: supranational, national, and institutional trends” (Portuguese Research Council, FCT 2022.03986.PTDC).
This hybrid event takes place at the Faculty of Education and Culture, Tampere University, at EDU’s Cafe (Virta building) or Zoom (see end of message) on 9 May 14.00-15.00.
The project examines the supranational trends shaping the autonomy of European higher education institutions in Finland, France, Poland, Portugal, and the Netherlands, focusing on how these trends manifest at the national and institutional levels, exploring the impact of policies on education, research, and innovation within these institutions and their missions.
The results are presented by Professor Teresa Carvalho (University of Aveiro) and researcher Ana Pinho (CIPES – Centre for Research in Higher Education Policies). The Finnish team of the project also includes researcher Paula Silvén and Professor Jaakko Kauko.
More information on the project can be found from https://www.cipes.pt/higher-education-autonomy-europe-supranational-national-and-institutional-trends?language=en.
The event is organised in collaboration of TRANSIT research centre, EduKnow research group, and the project “Higher Education Autonomy in Europe: supranational, national, and institutional trends” coordinated by CIPES.
