Our goal is to produce up-to-date and high-quality evidence-based information on the risk factors, prevalence and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
TaUH MSK research and education is led by Professor of Orthopaedics, Ville Mattila.
TaUH MSK Research in brief
We study musculoskeletal disorders in the specialties of orthopaedics and traumatology, hand and microsurgery, and plastic surgery as a joint effort between Pirkanmaa Hospital District, Coxa Hospital for Joint Replacement, and Tampere University.
