Forest Listening Lab is a community space for learning about urban nature with our senses and imagination. Each workshop combines guided forest walk and creative activities. Participation is open for everyone and free of charge. It is possible to attend one or more workshops. Minors can participate accompanied by an adult.
Registration is open until 7 October 2026 via sign-up link: REGISTRATION
Each session includes a guided forest walk and a creative workshop. By signing up, you register for both parts (16:30-19:30 / 12:00-15:00, including transit and dinner).
We will meet at agreed location in the forest. The duration of the walk is around 1 hour. The walk will contain educational content and simple body/mindfulness exercises.
After the walk, the group will go to workshop location (Kalevan Halli/ Pethaus). On 9 October, we will cover public transport costs. The workshop duration is around 1 hour. No previous experience in creative expression is needed. Light vegan dinner will be served.
Due to forest terrain, the event is not accessible.

Forest Listening Lab is supported by the TURNS Research Enrichment Funding.
