Reactive residence – shared operational environment
The VIMMA project is introducing a concept for a new shared operational environment titled Reactive residence. It is designed to gather together various forms of higher education, research, artistic work and entrepreneurship. The Reactive residence is a virtual and concrete working platform – a preliminary phase in VIMMA´s objective to create an internationally networked locus of digital arts and economy in Finland utilizing new user-centered virtual, mixed reality and intermedial applications. The first (re)action will take place in September 2013 when Centre for Practise as Research in Theatre organizes a seminar titled Media-artist at the crossroads of new performing environments..
The Reactive Residence concept will be carried on as a part of YLE´s Mediapolis initiative.
