INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH COLLABORATION:
Developing a network of European research centres (Tampere – Utrecht – Dublin)
During the workshops at Utrecht and Dublin the Vimma project initiated an international strategic planning work to create a European-wide network of like-minded research centres. T7 will be applying funding in 2015 to develop the mentioned network together with HKU´s MAPLAB and Trinity College Dublin´s ATRL.
PhD in Digital Arts (HAPtic-consortium)

New members are Waag Society (NL), HKU University of the Arts Utrecht (NL), University of Utrecht (NL), Mondo Digitale (IT) and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (ES). The consortium decided to apply other EU funding than ITN during the Spring 2015. These funding options were mapped out during the two researcher meetings in Utrecht and Amsterdam.
Devising Games Education Network –
CIMO-funded education collaboration with China
The development work on technology performance for game industries conducted in Vimma facilitated T7 to obtain CIMO funding for the travel expenses in education collaboration between Finland and Hong Kong. The Finnish consortium consists of T7, Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Media and Arts Program) and Tampere University of Technology (3D Media Group). With this funding the Vimma project´s results will be developed further with T7´s partners in Hong Kong (H.K Polytechnic University, City University of H.K) and Australia (UQ, QUT, University of Tasmania, Deakin).
