Today, at the high point of long-term dedication and innovation, we’re announcing the conclusion of the current AI Hub 2.0 project, a local Pirkanmaa endeavor that has been shaping the future of applied AI. We’re proud to share that Helsingin Sanomat has published a comprehensive feature article that dives deep into the impact and significance of AI Hub. As this chapter comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a role in making this project an astounding success.
First and foremost, we extend our sincere thanks to Pirkanmaan Liitto, FIMA ry, Business Tampere, TAU staff, and the entire Tampere.ai ecosystem, as well as all the customer companies who have been active and innovative in their support and collaboration. Your belief in the vision of AI Hub and your dedication to shared innovation have been instrumental in shaping the project’s journey from 2018 to 2023. The partnership between these organizations has been nothing short of inspiring, and it’s a testament to what can be achieved when diverse expertise comes together under a common goal.
Behind the scenes, our extraordinary AI Hub team (not all present in the photo) has been the driving force, pouring their insights and expertise into this project. Their efforts, creative thinking, and commitment have brought AI Hub to life and established it as a forerunner of AI advancement in Tampere area and beyond. We’re deeply grateful for everyone’s hard work and determination shown in the project.
Last but not least, our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the members of the project’s steering group. Your guidance, ideas, feedback and strategic direction have been invaluable in steering AI Hub toward its best success. Together, we’ve demonstrated the power of collaboration between industry, research, and academia in propelling Finnish AI innovation forward.
