The XVI Actor-Reality Construction Conference (ARC2026) was concluded in the June 2026, which was held as a stream of the 2026 Management Control Association (MCA) conference at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. Following the engaging presentations and discussions at the conference, several participants expressed their wish for the ARC seminar series to continue.
The previous run of the seminar series were held online monthly, from November 2025 until March 2026, and involved vibrant discussions on the concepts and methods for studying values, incl. what values are, what values we have, and how we investigate values. Building on these discussions, the seminar series is scheduled to continue during Autumn 2026. As before, the seminar series will be organised by the AQM group, Norwich Business School, UK.
The seminars will be held at 13:00 pm UK time, on 24 September, 15 October, and 19 November. All seminars will take place online via Microsoft Teams. The joining link and more details about the sessions can be found here: Topics and Schedules of the ARC online Seminar Series 2026.
Anybody interested in pragmatic constructivism and actor-reality construction is warmly invited to join the seminars and engage in deep, reflective interactions.
