Our journal

Journal of Pragmatic Constructivism (JouPraCon) aims at serving as a medium for publishing original research related to—but not limited to—the conferences and workshops that takes a pragmatic-constructivist approach to social science.

Journal of Pragmatic Constructivism covers the fields of humanities, social sciences, and technology. Thereby, it specifically focuses on the construction of reality in any type of organization through the use of participant approaches. Contributions in JouPraCon may be empirical or analytical, including reviews, speeches, comments, or notes.

Importantly, JouPraCon continues the network’s previous publication, Proceedings of Pragmatic Constructivism. Hence, you can see the previous issues (volumes 1-10) of the journal from the ProPraCon website.

The referee process is a double-blind peer review. JouPraCon aims at turnaround times of 8 weeks maximum. Please see the journal scope and the submission guidelines to see how to submit your paper to JouPraCon.

JouPraCon provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

JouPraCon list listed e.g., in the Finnish Publication Forum, and in the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers.
