Guidelines for Presenters
In the forthcoming SEVENTH CONFERENCE ON ACTOR-REALITY CONSTRUCTION at Tampere University of Technology 30th August – 1st September 2017, the guidelines for the presenters are the following:
The papers have been divided into thematic sessions according to the conference program that is available below. In each thematic sessions there will first be 20 minutes for each paper, and after the presentations of the papers, there will be a long discussion session ‘salon’ with respect to the overall theme. We expect the salons to be organized around 4 groups with 7-8 participants in each.
Accordingly, when preparing your presentation, please note that:
• The presentation should take no more than 15 minutes, with a possibility to 1-2 quick prompt questions immediately after the presentation. Make sure to reserve sufficient time to your particular findings and contribution (potentially at the cost of presenting generic literature background etc.)
• Quite obviously, your presentation may as such facilitate interesting discussion at the end of the session. Besides, make sure that your presentation enables connections to the overall theme of the session.
Thank you already in advance for your valuable contribution in the conference. Looking forward to interesting presentations and discussion!
