Research interests
My background is in accounting, and in general I am interested in the role of business in society and the impact of accounting in our everyday lives. My research interests include studying accounting in its social context, social and environmental accounting and reporting as well as accounting for the social impact of cooperatives and social enterprises. During my IASR period I will work on the broad theme of “alternative accountings” with the underlying purpose of acknowledging alternative criteria for evaluating corporate performance and giving voice to pluralistic and critical perspectives.
