A new paper on persistent monitoring with a robotic sensor network

Our paper entitled “A Two-Layer Control Framework for Persistent Monitoring of a Large Area with a Robotic Sensor Network” was accepted to IEEE Access. This paper proposed a two-layer control framework for a robotic sensor network to persistently monitor targeted grids in a given field. It is shown that the proposed method improves the coverage performance and reduces the travel distance of the robots in performing the task.
