Our paper entitled “Real-Time Data-Driven Electromechanical Oscillation Monitoring using Dynamic Mode Decomposition with Sliding Window” was accepted to CPES 2022.
In this paper, we analyse the applicability of DMD method to estimate in real-time and using measurement data the electromechanical oscillation modes in power system. We show that choosing the length of sliding window of DMD (number of data) is not a trivial problem and further propose the length of the window which achieves a good estimation accuracy.
