Publication: DIC results indicate that future supercapacitors can be comfortably worn on skin as a powerbank to power medical devices

Our work helped to demonstrate that the new supercapacitors developed at the department of electricity are comfortable to wear. The DIC measurements on the skin with and without the new device show no added concentrations of strain or deformation. This was used to quantitatively and objectively demonstrate the otherwise challenging and very subjective concept of comfort or discomfort. The DIC measurements show no strain localizations and therefore the new superconductors do not cause any "pinching" effect, which could be now scientifically demonstrated.
