Welcome to Dr Hannah King’s two guest lectures in Tampere University 23.5. and 24.5.2023 at 12.30! (Venue: Päätalo, room A08)
The topic of her first lecture will discuss covid-19 pandemic and youth in historical perspective and second lecture will deal with state, community and familial regulation of young people’s sexuality and gender in England.
Dr Hannah King is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Durham University, UK (https://www.durham.ac.uk/staff/hannah-king/). She draws upon her previous policy and youth work practice expertise within her teaching and research. Her research interests are in young people’s experiences of marginalisation and youth policy; domestic and sexual violence; youth justice; and women’s experiences of prison.
