You are cordially invited to the autumn online meeting of the Research seminar of the Department of Russian language and culture which will take place on Zoom at 15:00-16:30 (Helsinki time) on Wednesday 29 October.
At this seminar session, Daniil Zhaivoronok will be presenting his two latest articles:

“The new force in our country”: The emergence of post-truth feminism in the Russian media environment published in open access in the New Perspectives journal in March this year;

and The Birth of Collective Action Out of Influencer Culture?: Individual Visibility and Power Dynamics in the Feminist Anti-War Resistance published in open access in the Communist and Post-Communist Studies journal in August this year.
Daniil is a doctoral student at Tampere University and a researcher in the project “FEMCORUS Mediated feminism(s) in Russia”. His academic interests include critical feminist theory, feminist media studies, digital culture, and authoritarian states.
